中华队出线最大的对手应该是同组的菲利宾了， 如果中华队小将们能打出上届的风格和气势， 用整体战术击败以个人单打风格为主的菲利宾，还是可以的。 黄家明可以参加没？？ 菲利宾应该比上次亚青伊朗队应该差蛮多的，

亞青助理教練之議, 改由三民家商謝玉娟教練以及原來的南山高中助理教葉安展擔任亞青助理教練. 謝
玉娟也是上屆亞青幫助田本玉教練拿下第四名的助理教練.
8/13日到18日, 中華亞青隊會到菲律賓參加一個四強邀請賽, 對手除了地主菲律賓外, 還有立陶宛青年隊
與中國青年隊.

由于伊朗是地主自动拥有参赛权,所以他们的排名不算.也就是说第一名是叙利亚,第二名是黎巴嫩,第三是约旦.
最终黎巴嫩还是如愿进入实力相对比较弱的C组,而可怜的叙利亚只好到B组和韩国以及哈萨克血拼了.看来黎巴嫩的战术很成功.
最终的分组形式是:
A) China - Japan - Hong Kong - India
B) Korea - Saudi Arabia - Kazakhstan - Syria
C) Chinese Taiepei - Philippines - UAE - Lebanon
D) Iran - Uzbekistan - Malaysia - Jordan
你相信这哥们才18吗?靠!比奥登还成熟,连西亚的铜子都不相信这个球员才18岁.
听说第二伦预选赛的地主也门为了赢黎巴嫩,在与黎巴嫩比赛的时候派上了两名从美国归化来的超龄球员,好象还是双胞胎.正是由于他们的上场也门才以85:82击败了黎巴嫩.而且这两名球员在其他的比赛中都没有上场,这摆名了是要阴黎巴嫩一场.但是不可思议的是黎巴嫩竟然忍了下来.从这点上来看西亚在青年级别比赛中虚报年龄和国籍的事情应该是司空见惯了.

RP Youth mentor wary of Lithuania

With three of its players standing more than seven feet, RP Youth Team mentor Franz Pumaren considers the Lithuania squad as their toughest rival in the four-nation Nokia-Manila Youth Invitational Basketball Championships which starts Aug. 14 at the Cuneta Astrodome.
The tournament, organized by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), serves as a tune up for the National Youth Team, which will compete in the Asian Youth Championships from Aug. 28 to Sept. 5 in Tehran, Iran
Although Asian power China and Chinese-Taipei have also been invited to play against the Philippines in the Invitational league, Pumaren still picks Lithuania as the team to watch in the four-day competition.
"Among the three teams, I think it’s Lithuania (strongest team). They are a world power and they have a tall line up," Pumaren, who steered La Salle to many UAAP titles, said yesterday.
The RP 5 opens hostilities with Lithuania on August 14 before the Nationals take on Chinese-Taipei on August 15 and China on August 16.

Lithuania, fresh off a runner up finish in the recent FIBA-Euro Youth Championships, arrives early next week with three seven-footers, including 7-foot-3 center Donatas Motiejunas, the reigning MVP of the Euro league.

Meanwhile, Pumaren disclosed that Filipino-Canadian Matthew Wright has arrived Tuesday to reinforce the youth squad.
Wright, a 6-foot-2 shooting guard from Martin Groove high school in Toronto, is expected to add new dimension to the style of play of the under-18 national team, Pumaren said.
"He looks impressive (Wright). He has a good shooting and he’ll definitely be a big help to the team. I think he ranks no. 2 in his high school team in Toronto," Pumaren said.
The Philippines earned a ticket to play in the Asian Youth tournament in Iran after ruling the Southeast Asian Basketball Association Junior Men Championship in Malaysia last May.
The young Filipinos will play in Iran with the hopes of ending a 26-year title drought.
The last time the country won the Asian junior crown was in 1982 when the team composed of some basketball greats like Hector Calma and Alfie Almario beat China.
The Philippines is in Group C with Lebanon, Chinese-Taipei and United Arab Emirates. Defending Champion China leads Hong Kong, India and Japan in Group A while Saudi Arabia, Korea, Kazakhstan and Jordan belong to Group B. Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Syria and host Iran are in Group D.
Meanwhile, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) is sending two neutral referees to officiate the tournament in Manila.
BAP-Samahang Basketball ng Pilipinas Executive Director Noli Eala said the two referees, one from Thailand and the other from Singapore, will work with local referees.
