BEIJING (AP) -- Rockets center Yao Ming says he hopes to continue playing for Houston after his contract expires this summer.
Yao says his priority is recovering from the stress fracture to his left ankle that kept him out of all but five games this season. He told reporters in his hometown of Shanghai on Thursday that he hopes to begin workouts once he returns to the U.S.
Yao says his professional future depends on his injury and the outcome of talks between the NBA and its union over a new collective bargaining agreement.
He says he wouldn't consider moving if conditions offered by another team were similar to those given by the Rockets.
With Rick Adelman's departure this week, Houston is searching for a third coach since 2003.

可能就單純還有個NBA夢吧
但站在火箭的立場 老闆跟總管合約還開得出來嗎
可能要用老將合約才能簽姚明吧

我覺得根本沒啥好考慮的
選項也很單純: 底薪、老將、一年
就這樣...多一毛我都認為虧了。
按照姚明這兩年的出席率...等於花大錢白白養了兩年
絕對不會再給他超過千萬的年薪
有好好保護自己的話
暑假就不要去參加什麼中國次級賽事
(還說不是籃協逼的...自願的? 那受傷就是自找的嘛...球團何必同情你?)
受傷之後又想叫長約?
