It's a tough call, actually. Boozer got several good players around him, like Okur and Williams, as well as Yao got T-Mac. And Jazz lost several recent games in late November. That may be another factor. I think the weakness of Boozer being the POM is that he didn't draw much double-team. Also, he is not the first choice in offense. Good rebounder, though.
Actually I think Dirk is more competitive than Boozer in POM. He is the KEY player and he LED his team to an 11-4 record.
For Yao's case, the Rockets was 8-1 in November when Yao was the leading scorer. And 2-4 when Yao wasn't the leading scorer. That's something big.
