Free-agent forward Trevor Booker has agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal with the Utah Jazz, a league source told Yahoo Sports on Tuesday.

After four years with the Washington Wizards, Booker brings his strong, physical frontcourt presence to the Jazz.

Booker, 26, averaged 6.8 points on 55.4 percent shooting and 5.3 rebounds for the Wizards in the 2013-14 season. In four seasons with Washington, he averaged 6.4 points and 5.1 rebounds.

Booker was the 23rd overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft out of Clemson.

 

Booker是Quin指名要簽的, 他在老鷹時就覺得Booker在巫師打球很拼很難對付, 老鷹隊上的Millsap也是這種很拼的矮壯型

也許Quin理想的球隊, 就需要一位這樣矮壯有鬥志的球員, 也能提高禁區對抗性

Booker 已經在聯盟打了 4 年, 但是還是很難歸類他是那一型的

undersized? 但是又不像 Blair, 運動力和防守一流, 加上翼展, 似乎打4 號可以, 但是 a decent midrange?

要在場上和 Favors 同時出現只怕很難, 但是和 Novak 應該很合

這價碼很便宜, 看起來 Quin 的眼光不錯

昨晚消息傳出時，雖然華盛頓那邊有很多球迷來恭賀阿爵，但眾阿爵仍表示不滿

如果今天沒有 novak 跟 evans，這會是筆很好的 signing（new sap & 5m/y）

但我們已經有五位 bigman，這不太合乎眾阿爵期待

1. 除非有交易（眾阿爵表示 dislike）

2. 或者 evans 能成功轉三號？

去年頭殼不小心壞了一天簽下三世，先前還送走 garrett 而不是非保證約的他

今年這筆，在性質上被阿爵看成去年三世的翻版 = 多餘 or 浪費

爵士500萬簽下Booker後, 保證約11人合計5525.8萬, 薪資下限是5675.9萬, 算得剛剛好...誰叫爵士薪資空間多, 總得要有地方花啊(Hayward跟得有理)

爵士另外還有John Lucas III(160萬), Malcolm Thomas(94.8萬) , Erik Murphy(81.6萬), Ian Clark(81.6萬)等4位不保證約球員...目前後面三位都在打夏季聯盟, Thomas(6-9 PF)三場都先發, Murphy(6-10 F/C)今天替Gobert先發, 兩位拼命得很, 聽到爵士簽了Booker, 大概心都涼半截

Ian Clark是我一直很看好的SG, 但Ty從來不用, 今天他三分球投6中4

JL3我看不用回來了, 錢跟位置省下來去簽Billups, 兩位新人PG最好還是有老人帶, Wall也是A. Miller去了巫師之後才變得可靠
