Terrence Ross to defend dunk title

Brian Spurlock/USA TODAY SportsIndiana's Paul George will try to dethrone defending champion Terrence Ross in this year's dunk contest.
The six-man field for the dunk contest at All-Star Weekend in New Orleans will feature three big names from the actual All-Star Game, according to sources close to the process.
Sources told ESPN.com that Indiana'sPaul George, Washington's John Walland Portland's Damian Lillard are confirmed entrants in the dunk field that will be officially announced later Thursday on TNT.
ESPN.com reported Wednesday night that George, Wall and Lillard were poised to join defending championTerrence Ross of the Toronto Raptors in the competition.
Sources confirmed Thursday thatGolden State's Harrison Barnes andSacramento rookie Ben McLemore are the other two participants in the contest, which has met with lukewarm reviews the past several years, partly due to a lack of star power on display.
CSNNW.com reported Wednesday that Lillard has also been asked to compete in the 3-point contest. If Lillard accepts, he'll become the first player in All-Star Weekend history to compete in all five events. Lillard is already committed to Friday night's rookie/sophomore game and Saturday night's skills challenge in addition to the dunk contest, and Sunday's All-Star Game.
The All-Star Game is Sunday, Feb. 16, at New Orleans Arena.
