CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Tyler Hansbrough hopes to jumpstart his basketball career in the same state where he first emerged on to the national scene. The former North Carolina Tar Heels star forward signed a free agent contract with the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday. Terms of the deal were not announced. "Obviously I'm comfortable in North Carolina, but I (also) felt like this would be a good fit for me to come in and bring some energy and do what I can to win here," Hansbrough said during his introductory press conference Wednesday at the team's downtown arena. The 29-year-old Hansbrough spent the past two seasons with Toronto, although he saw limited playing time. He played four seasons before that with Indiana after being selected 13th overall in 2009 NBA draft. His best season was 2010-11, when he averaged 11 points and 5.2 rebounds and started a career-high 29 games for the Pacers. His playing time and production have decreased each of the past four seasons. He averaged 3.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in 2014-15 for the Raptors. Hansbrough is optimistic he can get back to the production he had in his early years with the Pacers. "I feel like in Toronto my offensive role was diminished playing the five" position, Hansbrough said. "I feel like I can get back to that (production). In Toronto we were more guard-oriented." Hornets general manager Rich Cho likes what the 6-foot-9, 250-pound Hansbrough brings to the team. "He's a guy we have had a lot of admiration for over the years (with) his work ethic, competitiveness and energy he brings night in and night out," Cho said. "He's a high character guy who plays both ends of the floor." Cody Zeller is expected to start at power forward and rookie first-round draft pick Frank Kaminsky is slated to be his backup, so it's unclear how much playing time Hansbrough will see in Charlotte. Coach Steve Clifford said that will be determined later in the preseason. He said Hansbrough could be used in what he termed a "specialist" role, seeing more action based on the matchup. "He's a guy where if you don't have juice one night you can throw in there and he can change the intensity of your team," Clifford said. Hansbrough retired as UNC's all-time leader in points (2,872) and rebounds (1,219) and helped the Tar Heels win a national championship in 2009.

第二梯隊

C: Kaminsky 

PF: Hansbrough (為什麼不是小Zeller?....因為他上季就算上場30分鐘表現還是很銷魂)

SF: Matt Barnes

SG: Jeremy Lamb

PG: Lin

 

第二梯隊基本上可以打爆很多隊伍的第二梯隊

就看先發能不能爭氣了

不然板凳深度真的夠深

當下有點給他洩氣..

但是替補可是一點都不含糊的

除了我列舉出的第二梯隊

別忘了禁區鋒線還有Marvin Williams和Cody Zeller

在傷兵滿營時，J. Tyler打先發小前鋒也表現得尚可

而Hansbrough、Barnes、Lamb、Lin都是有打過先發經驗的老鳥了

在貧弱的東區

只要沒有傷病問題

要擠進5~8種子應該不是太悲觀

Walker的傷病狀態仍然是重點

無傷無痛而且被賦予第一順位開火權的話

黃鋒可以打得比較有威脅性

還是只局限於防守的

進攻上面他這幾年都沒有太多的進步

雖然中距離還有一手

但他其他的得分手段都還很粗糙

 

 雖然我覺得他會相當適合黃蜂

不過他就跟之前在暴龍的另外一名苦力 - C.Hayes一樣

只能提供禁區的身體對抗

不提供補防能力

這傢伙是跳不太起來的

M.Barnes的確是被交易去灰熊了

所以要是M.Kidd-Gilchrist在SF這位置打得普普, 我想會是N.Batum取代他吧

至於SG.....讓本季打得有點像樣的P.J.Hairston上來練練也是不錯

貧弱的東區不代表競爭不激烈..騎士.老鷹.公牛.熱火.公鹿.巫師.暴龍.綠衫軍.籃網...想拉那一隊下來對黃蜂來說並不容易！！
