每次看到每一隊名單中都會有2~3人無法上場,

顯示"DNP - Coach's Decision "

這是教練決定不用他們來比賽的意思嗎?

連尼克隊都只用7個球員打天下,那既然如此,幹嘛要登記12名球員啊?

那每一隊就留下7~9個球員就好啦!剩下的就全部裁員....還可節省人事成本...

NBA ask any team needs 12 players in the list.

and 7 or 8 players need to wear sport gears.

First, Every team has salary CAP and bottom, it means your total salary need to above certain amount.

You can't just pay 12 players who earning  the min salary or rockie salary.

Second,  A team just has 7 players on the list. If 3 players get injured during the game, how can the game play? (Rocket).

12 in active list,3 in DL, It can let the players train together during the season. 

DNP just means the player on active list but not play during the game.

Like Bull's Rose, he cut himself. Not a serious injure. He may be DNP during the game.
