Perkins Has Turned Down Celtics’ Offer

According to two league sources, Kendrick Perkins has already turned down a
Celtics offer that is bound by the CBA’s current restrictions — a contract
extension worth slightly less than $30 million over four years, which
reflects the currently mandated contract limits of a 20-percent increase and
a four-year maximum. Perkins, represented by agent Arn Tellem, has opted to
wait until he is an unrestricted free agent, when even in an unpredictable
market he has a chance of commanding far more.

根據現行 CBA規定，簽四年約的球員可以在第三年合約走完之後續約

新約起薪最高為舊有合約最後一年金額的110.5%（註），最高漲幅為10.5%
註：不過這個金額不能夠超過該球員成為FA時所能拿的最高起薪，也就是一般俗稱的頂薪

以 KP 今年薪水4,640,208來計算的話，其新約金額為：

共約24M/4y，被KP拒絕也是合情合理的。

問題來了，原文不是說30M/4y嗎？錯誤的點就出現在上色的部份，報
導不知道怎麼回事把最高漲幅寫成20% ，這真的是錯得離譜。要知道
現在連大鳥條款（Larry Bird exception）要留下本隊的自由球員都
只能用10.5% 的漲幅了，怎麼可能季中續約還會有20% ，所以原文的
金額自然也是錯的。

為了保險起見，我也用同樣的數字，套入20% 算了一下：

30M/4y，一整個相符啊 XD


如果這篇報導真的如此錯得離譜，表示：

1.報導第一句的 according to two league sources消息來源兩個都
  錯？見鬼了。雖然不是不可能但難以想像。

2.這篇報導的記者自己唬爛，消息來源跟他說 C's用現行合約最大值
  續約遭拒，他也不問清楚就隨便查個資料丟上來了。
