The lure for players of this caliber is the shorter season, less games, and financial flexibility, (with some players making more then the NBA minimum), but none more important then the chance to become a global star in a country that boasts over 1 billion people, with more then a third enthralled with the game of basketball.
So whether you pay attention to China basketball or not, you may be forced to as your favorite player, may become the next great export.
